Societal Engineering!
The society is a mirror image of yourself. You create a society around you and not vice-versa. There has been for sure, a lot of developments in this world since World War II. However, modernization has played its role throughout along with the technology development. I definitely like it. I appreciate the good, anyway. Well, I was born in a decent city, decently raised, spent childhood in a decent school, joined in yet another decent college for Bachelors. I had hardly been to my parents hometown, especially because I am so used to the life in the city, with lesser power cuts, more facilities, lesser nosy people, better water facility, so on and so forth. We (general people) are so used to the luxuries at where we are living and hence, it might be difficult to sustain without them. I wonder why I get these thoughts.
But anyway............dot dot..
I would like to put a small explanation on what is happening with societies lately. People in the society are just looking in to get away with it, in any manner they can, rather than actually pausing 5 minutes of their busy life into thinking about it. Why does it happen this way?
Present day world has changed a lot lately. It has its pros and cons, like every other thing in this universe has. We all know the pros but cons, not observed much. Let me take an example for cons, of a house rented by 4 guys, who share the rent and food expenses: Guy1, Guy2, Guy3 and Guy4. Everyone happy in their new home until one of these guys talk to the rest of them about the cleanliness in the room, coz, he doesn't want to get fined for unnecessary reasons. Let's assume Guy1 asks the rest of the guys about it, and he hears no positive responses. Everyone in his own mind. Guy1 asks about it again 1 week later about the same. By this time, there is more and more stuff becoming dirty. Still NO from almost everyone. Guy1 hears comments such as "We've just landed in this new apartment, everything looks good and now let's just enjoy". Guy1 ignores and starts cleaning and arranging the house. Guy2 and Guy3 tries to help in bits and pieces and somehow the job is done for that one time. After a month, Guy1 again comes up with same issue, and hears the rest of them say the same too. Guy2 agreed to help him, and Guy3 agreed to stay on both the boats. Guy1 and Guy2 cleans the room and this repeats until Guy1 and Guy2 gets pissed off. There is a day when Guy1 and Guy2 realizes that they are just cleaning the mess Guy3 and Guy4 have made at the house. Guy1 disappointed about the gap between these four friends in the house and decides not to do anything until Guy3 and Guy4 steps in for it. Guy2 cleans part of the house and lets the situation carried on until one day Guy2 asks Guy3 and Guy4 for help. That is when Guy1 returns back and 4 of them cleans the house. The next time, Guy1 asks the team about cleaning, and was unsuccessful as usual. House not clean this time, not clean next month, not clean for four further months. What happened now??? House stinks, bugs and cockroaches abundant in supply, dirty carpets, unclean-able stuff, so on. Ultimately, they paid a lot of fine charges imposed by the leasing office for not taking good care of the house these guys lived in. Why am I talking about this shit??? You now know what exactly is happening in this world, most of the time. There are good and bad elements in the society. The bad elements influence the good, a lot easily compared to its vice-versa. A country/society is like a house in the story, citizens/social people (us) are like the 4 guys staying together. In order to keep the country neat and clean, or technically, financially efficient, not one, not two, but everyone has to contribute their good share in it. There is not much that is going to happen good, if this is not realized by us.
What do you think??????? Put your comments on it. :)
